The Sundarban forest in West Bengal is the setting for Abar Proloy’s story. In order to deceive young girls and women into falling into a love trap, a group of teenage lads have created a severe issue in the Sundarbans. A rise in women trafficking occurs in Sundarban as a result of the gang’s subsequent trafficking of women to other states. Special crime section officer Animesh Datta, played by Saswata Chatterjee, assumes control of the situation to free the trapped girls and end the bloodshed.

Abar Proloy Movie Review
Raj Chakraborty walks into the OTT area, and he plans to remain. His talent as an entertainer is evident in Abar Proloy. The 10-episode supercop drama starring Animesh Dutta is skillfully crafted and presented on the expansive Sunderban set. The excess of Abar Proloy makes it the perfect binge-watch show. Raj does away with the idea of a sombre and realistic approach while yet making the show logical through songs, dances, actions, and emotion. When Animesh walks, the wind blows, and with a single blow, he sends them flying.
The images that will stick in your mind are those of a young man selling off his catch, a girlfriend, in the middle of the river while keeping a straight face, or of three impoverished children dancing and making fun of one another in an abandoned church. The show features gorgeous shots of the silver lines of small rivers and the lush green Sunderban.
In Abar Proloy, which starts out as a supercop drama, a story of love, friendship, betrayal, and jealousy emerges. The series’ strongest points are its language and screenplay. Up until the somewhat dull climax, the tale moves along without any problems. In fact, after a while, the plot will become fairly clear. However, predictability won’t be a problem. It will be fascinating to see how the timeframe is handled. The conversations are very captivating and hard to put down. Although profanity should be used with caution, none of the swear words sound forced or inappropriate. Instead, it strengthens the dialect’s credibility.
It is nothing less than a casting coup, with a number of A-list stars playing pivotal roles in the show. One must first take a minute to admire the universe of the Hujja gang’s youthful actors and actresses, Parul, Haru, Kanu, and Moni, before moving on to the older cast members. While Pushan’s portrayal of Haru deserves special recognition for his good performance, Moni is just cheerful and lovely. The script smoothly incorporates the Hujja members. Pintu, Rubel, and the others are completely believable.
