Nivin Pauly, Anu Emmanuel, Saiju Kurup, Joju George, Alexander Prasanth, Kalabhavan Prajod, Rony David, and Sohan Seenulal are among the actors who appear in the movie. Together with Abrid Shine and Shibu Thekkumpuram, Nivin produced the movie. The score was written by Rajesh Murugesan, and the original songs were written by Jerry Amaldev. The main shoot commenced in May 2015 and was completed in October 2015.
Action Hero Biju Movie Story
The main characters of the movie are SI Biju Poulose and other officers, who deal with a variety of minor and large complaints and cases reported to the police station. One day, Biju gets a call from the hospital telling him about a 12-year-old girl who attempted to steal some mangoes from the home of powerful businessman Samson Tharakan and was mauled by a dog. According to the witnesses, the businessman intentionally let the dog escape. To arrest the businessman, Biju travels to his residence. However, several elected officials in the area attempt to use their influence to stop the lawsuit from being recorded. Biju locates the offender in a bar and takes him into custody.
The following complaint was settled by a woman who had not yet received her salary. The employers behave callously when Biju attempts to arbitrate a bargain between them and the lady, which infuriates Biju. If the dues are not paid, he threatens to shut down their business due to inaccurate registration information; the employers quickly pay. Later, Biju comes across a case involving a woman’s suicide attempt and the following disappearance of a Navy personnel who dived into the water to save the mother and her child. He and his subordinates find the woman during the subsequent search. The infant perishes because those who pulled her from the river believed she had passed away, and emergency personnel didn’t take her to the hospital.
Biju is profoundly impacted by this, and there are currently no leads as to where the missing Navy guy might be. He solves other crimes over the course of the following few days, including those involving a car driver who chases a married woman he loves, helmetless bikers, and a drunk who steals a wireless set from a negligent cop Minimon. When he goes after the rising drug sales that target school students while looking into a case of substance misuse and assault by an adolescent, he finds a group of youngsters buying marijuana from a notorious criminal during random vehicle checks.
In front of the magistrate, Biju makes the arrests, transports the suspects to the police station, questions the suspects using third-degree interrogation techniques, and notifies the teenagers’ parents. After warning them, Biju releases them without filing a complaint in order to protect their future. Later, he resolves a case involving the timid Sindhu, Pavithran’s wife, and their daughter’s elopement. Biju takes on a case that his superiors have given him involving some diamonds that were stolen from a home. Biju surmises that the housekeeper Bhavani is the thief based on the circumstances and the available evidence. He pays her a visit and discovers holes in her alibi during questioning.
She is detained after they make her the guilty party. When he meets her husband Rajendran and kids, he recognises her daughter Raji as a respected SPC student cadet; however, when he discovers the mother did it to pay school tuition, Biju is left with a difficult moral choice. Biju complies with the law grudgingly and drives housekeeper Bhavani to the police. Biju learns the whereabouts of a few wanted offenders inside his jurisdiction via an informant. One of the crooks stabs him as he corners and apprehends them, but Biju is able to stop them from escaping until the rest of the police force arrives.

Writing for The Hindu, S.R. Praveen attacked the movie for glorifying police custody abuse, particularly at a time when Kerala Police was under fire for a string of custody fatalities throughout the state. The critique also criticised Nivin’s role for glorifying sexist and racist statements.
