With the exception of Tadipatri, where the TDP lost all the municipalities in Andhra Pradesh to the governing YSRCP Party, JC Prabhakar Reddy was chosen as Tadipatri Municipality Chairman today. In addition to Mydukur municipality in Kadapa district, Tadipatri is the only other municipality in all of Andhra Pradesh where the TDP has gained more seats than the governing YSRCP. JC Prabhakar Reddy won as a councilor from Tadipatri Municipality ward number 24.

J.C. Prabhakar Reddy, the head of the Tadipatri Muncipality, said on Wednesday that Circle-Inspector Ananda Rao, who committed suicide on June 3 (Monday), was pressured into taking the drastic measure by Tadipatri MLA Kethireddy Pedda Reddy.
Mr Prabhakar Reddy, speaking at a press conference held here, claimed that the local MLA had behaved suspiciously right away following the death of the circle inspector. The MLA had tampered with the call logs and audio recordings on two of the police officer’s mobile phones, including an official mobile phones and a personal one, after arriving at his home at 4 a.m. hours after his death. A third mobile was also used by the CI, and his daughter now owns it. The CI’s phone have the MLA’s fingerprints on them, he claimed.
According to the Municipal chairman, Me Ananda Rao taped the harassing calls fafetr being upset by political pressure from the MLA.
Additionally, Mr. Prabhakar Reddy claimed that senior Tadipatri police officials had turned become the MLA’s go-to guys. In addition, Mr. Prabhakar Reddy accused Kethireddi Pedda Reddy of acquiring fortune through unauthorized sand mining.
