Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s childhood in Kerala is where the movie starts. He is an outgoing child who enjoys climbing trees and playing cricket. He aspires to join the Indian Army and is a fervent patriot.

Sandeep enters the Indian Army and receives a lieutenant commission after completing college. He has received counterterrorism operations training and has been assigned to the National Security Guard (NSG).

Sandeep is a member of the NSG squad that is sent to Mumbai in November 2008 to respond to the 26/11 terrorist strikes. His assignment is to free hostages held at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

As soon as Sandeep and his squad enter the hotel, they start fighting the terrorists. Sandeep gets shot several times, yet he keeps fighting. In the end, he takes down the final terrorist while rescuing the prisoners.

India’s highest peacetime gallantry honor, the Ashoka Chakra, is given to Sandeep posthumously. Additionally, the Keralan government presented him with the Kirti Chakra, the third-highest gallantry medal in India.

A montage of Sandeep’s life and contributions to society concludes the movie. He is regarded as a hero who gave his life in defense of his nation.

You’re aware of the adage “funerals are for the living, not the dead”? You’re mistaken if you believe that Sashi Kiran Tikka’s Major is only a tribute to the 26/11 sacrifice. The sacrifices parents must make while hoping their kid is not the one called to war are honored in this movie, which is a tribute to the sacrifices a lonely wife must make while her husband is away fighting bad guys. This movie is dedicated to individuals whose sacrifices are rarely recognized yet they are typically the ones left in sadness.

Sandeep Unnikrishnan (Adivi Sesh) was born with a protective instinct. Despite his anxiety, he is willing to put himself in danger to save the life of another person.

It makes sense that he was attracted by the “uniform” and the style of life of a soldier even as a young child. What does becoming a soldier entail, though? Does it include giving up being a decent father and son, prioritizing oneself over others on the battlefield, or going above and beyond to the point of becoming a selfless sacrifice lamb?
