Rangabali Review

Once again proving how natural it is for him to play the kid next door is young actor Naga Shaurya. He plays a person who is passionate about his town and assumes the role of one of its influential individuals, which is admirable. Especially during the scenes with the warnings, his verbal delivery has really improved. Shaurya excels in comic circumstances as well.

The comedian Satya is excellent in his role. He has impeccable comedy timing and uses humorous phrases and emotions to get the audience to laugh aloud. The first half of the film is effortlessly carried by him. Goparaju Ramana has a small but important part to perform.

Observing his interactions with Naga Shaurya is interesting. The director succeeds in his goal of making the first half enjoyable because to the well-executed humorous scenes involving Shaurya and Satya.

The plot lacks a compelling hook to pique readers’ interest. Despite the filmmaker handles the first half successfully with respectable humorous moments featuring Shaurya, his friends, and his family, the second half falls short. The bad writing prevents the filmmaker from capitalizing on the first half’s potential for a strong second half. Rangabali is lacking because of the poor narrative, which exacerbates the problem.

It is terrible that talented actor Shine Tom Chacko is playing a part with limited screen time. Ineffective face-off scenes with Naga Shaurya and his poorly developed personality both fall flat. Although Murali Sharma and Sarathkumar have significant roles, the director doesn’t effectively utilize them. Better scenes may have been presented to them. Anantha Sriram and the other characters serve no purpose in the movie’s story.

Additionally, the comic Satya hardly ever shows up in the second half. The director shouldn’t have eliminated his character because it would have altered the movie’s conclusion. The second half is a major letdown, especially after the pre-climax. By the time the viewer realizes what is happening, the movie ends abruptly with a forced resolution.
